Blending the fiber particles smaller, thus producing more surface area for more absorption. I have no scientific basis for this, just common sense thinking. I have no idea how a blender can "digest" fiber, but OK. Blending does not magically product digestive enzymes. |
95% of digestion starts in the lower intestine. The mouth only starts the mechanical digestion process, so technically the blender does that for you. The chemical digestion process is where nutrient absorption happens. A blender does not impact chemical digestion. A vitamix is not a uranium centrifuge, capable of splitting atoms. |
