How did public school kids do in admissions this year?

| I have a child at a DCPS elementary, and we are thinking of making the switch to private in the next year or so. I would love to hear how public school kids faired in admissions this year, particularly to middle and/or high school. Thanks. |

| My public school kid from Deal did not get into any of the schools she applied to (Holton, NCS and Georgetown Visitation). Not thrilled, but she is fine with Wilson. |

| My public school kid (FCPS) applied for 9th grade to only one school, and we have not heard anything yet (& now we probably won't hear until Wednesday - stupid freaking snow!). |

To anyone thinking of going from DCPS to private, what grade are going? and if you care to mention, which school are you leaving?
Ours haven't started elem yet, but I'm sure we will consider private down the line if we stay in the district. TIA! |
