Girl Names: Sadie, Abby, Audrey, Paige

We've narrowed it down to the above four for DD2. DD1 is Lucy. Any thoughts?

Sadie is a nickname?

I have a Sadie and it is her given name. I believe Sadie COULD be a nickname for Sarah but there are no "rules" around this. I like Abby also. Abigail sounds way too formal.

OP, we must have similar taste in names. With the exception of Abby, all of your choices were on our short list (Lucy too!). I think I like Paige the best but Sadie is a close second. Audrey is a great name but it's gotten a little too popular for my tastes.

I like Audrey or Abby, but I would name her Abigail so she has the choice to use the longer name later in life or on resumes.

I really dislike Sadie (sounds like a dog) and Paige has always rubbed me the wrong way, probably because there was a girl named Paige in my sorority and her boyfriend would always walk the halls yelling, "Paging Paige. Paging Paige." Annoying.

OP here. I am also leaning towards Paige. What did you end up deciding on for your DD?

I love Audrey--it's a family name for us as well as one of my dear friend's name.

OP here. I am also leaning towards Paige. What did you end up deciding on for your DD?

We ended up going with Daphne and Lucy for our two girls. Used Paige as a middle name. The others are all still in consideration if we have another girl someday but I think we're done.
