| I have a Paige - this thread is making me feel good about her name. She has friends named Lucy and Sadie. They are in elementary school. |
|
Now that I think about it, I'd out rule Sadie. I like Lucy and Sadie as names by themselves, but I know too many dogs with those names that when you put them together, it sounds like a you have two dogs.
Lucy and Paige, Lucy and Audrey, Lucy and Abby don't give me that feeling. |
| +1 for Paige. Such a classic, sophisticated name. Audrey sounds like an 80 year old. |
How is Paige a classic name? |
| My 3 year old is Paige. Feeling good about all the love for the name but a little nervous that it's gaining in popularity. The only other Paige I personally know is a 60 year old woman. |
| Paige was our top choice for a girl before we had DS1 (and DS2). Agree about the classic nature of the name. So timeless and elegant. |
| I think Audrey and Paige are both classic, safe names. Sadie sounds extremely juvenile and Abby is a nickname. |
|
I love the name Paige. Almost used it for our DD (now 9) but that TV show Trading Spaces was popular at the time and I was concerned about the name getting *too* popular, so we took a different approach. |
I feel this way too. |
Lucy and Sadie...woof, woof.
|
| I really like Paige, just think it's really pretty and not overused. |
The only Sadie I have ever known was a dog. Abby is a nickname. Give your daughter the option of a formal name for resumés etc. |
| Can you really picture a 40 year old Sadie? |
| Love all of these! Go with Abby. Forget the haters. |
Yes. |
