Blake Lively- Jason Baldoni and NYT - False Light claims

They did not joke about the SH. They didn't even joke about the court case. They made a quick joke about how things are going poorly for them right now, and it's in the news a lot. "Why, what have you heard?" is a reference to the fact that people are hearing quite a bit about them right now, and a lot of it is negative. That's it.

Also, if Livley was in fact harassed, it is normal and fine for her to go to an event last night. The alleged harassment happened over a year ago. She is a person. You are allowed to have fun and be seen in public even if a bad thing happened to you one time. No one freaked out when Baldoni was spotted on vacation in Hawaii with his family. No one was like "omg how tasteless to go on vacation after being accused of harassment and retaliation." It's just like, yeah, I bet his family could use a vacation.

I don't know if Livley was harassed (I was not there). I don't know if Baldoni is a good guy or not (I don't know him). This case is interesting and I am following it to see what will happen, but I don't get some of this commentary. It's deranged. He made the smallest of jokes about the fact that they are having a tough time right now. Who cares???????

It is no use trying to engage the posters obsessed with blacklisting Lively etc. It's too bad those two can't exchange emails or meet in person to further facilitate their weird schauenfreude circle jerk and instead must populate this thread with their hallucinatory revelations about the fate and character of all involved, but I'm going to leave them to it and come back if something interesting happens.

Persona non grata! Apparently no A-listers at SNL wanted to be seen associating with them or photographed with them.

‘Their team worked with SNL to create the joke but the truth is, people there weren’t really feeling it. To many it felt like cheap damage control.

Are you on drugs or just getting paid? He definitely made a mockery of her case.

Sexual harassment is serious. Going on a comedy special and joking about anything related to it is bizarre. SNL used to be about being inappropriate. Why attend an event where there is a lot of unscripted physical humor and joke about the coverage of sexual harassment. It was beyond tone deaf and smug.

Are they that desperate for a quick laugh?

Ryan is doing anything he possibly can to salvage his own rep, even if that includes throwing his liar wife under the bus!

This is what it looked like. But that framing only works if you start with the premise her case is fabricated. If her claims are real, it’s really ugly.

The public isn’t feeling it either.

You don't file a SH suit to settle it by paying the other side 50M for their SH. If they have a PR problem now, it would be worse with a settlement like that. It's like the Baldoni supporters live in some alternate reality reading PageSix, reddit, and examining women's bodies all day.

I can’t speak to Baldoni’s interest in settling. But last night made it abundantly clear the heavyweight puppet masters above Blake and Ryan want this messy drama to go away. Now.

No it didn't lmao. It's a joke in Hollywood but the lawsuit will contuine. If the "heavy puppet masters" wanted it to to away ASAP Ari wouldn't be over there making fun of his name antagonizing Justin v

Ari Emanuel now has people digging into his past and it’s not good.

As if Ari cares This is not the first time people have looked at his shady past. Everytime he bashes CAA people bring up him being hypocritical.

A lot of younger people had no idea who Ari Emanuel was until he opened his giant mouth defending Blake and Ryan saying what great people they are. Now they know and are looking into him. What a character witness Ari is lol.

You need to touch grass because most people don't care about what's going on with these lawsuits. To think this somehow think Ari is freaking out after his decades of his own controversies and rants is laughable. That man doesn't care and i am positive will rant about Justin in future event/meeting soon enough.

It. Is. All. Over. Social. Media.

Social media does not equal real life. Not everyone is chronically online. None of my coworkers are keeping up with nor care too.

It pretty much does for younger demos. 75 percent of the posters here are too old to be of interest to advertisers.

Exactly! Social media is what matters these days! Look at these SM influencers. These are what people are touting and looking to right now.

This blows so many minds on this thread. They just don’t get it.

Three sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... lots of stars who attended the 'SNL' events on Sunday night were "confused" as to why Blake and Ryan appeared at the show while they battle it out in court with Baldoni over drama surrounding the movie, "It Ends With Us."

Making this joke last night was so arrogant of BL/RR. Huge mistake.

“It’s very plausible that Justin’s legal team will use this public outing to defend him,” the insider tells Page Six.

“Justin is taking this lawsuit in all seriousness and isn’t making a public mockery out of it,” they add.

Sooooo many strings were pulled to get this onto SNL. I’m honestly just so very tired of this man. His 50 year old catty frat boy schtick is so grating at this point.

I was similarly confused to see them there. Don't they have PR people to advise them? Who thought attending and doing this little joke was a good idea? It must have been so awkward for everyone else.

They don’t listen to the lawyers so maybe they also don’t listen to PR people.
