Blake Lively- Jason Baldoni and NYT - False Light claims

Anonymous
The SNL stunt poured cold water over all of their allegations. As most level-headed observers suspected all along, this was a cooked up fake scheme from the very get-go. If your wife was truly a traumatized victim you're not going to orchestrate a skit on national TV to laugh about it. Not that it's blown up in their faces and the real victim is fighting back, they're trying to shift the narrative and act like it was just a big messy joke.

This has nothing to do with the endless debate if last night means they are back or not, it just seems such cruel humor to Blake.

I totally agree. If my husband did this to me I would be livid and I said that last night on here and was mocked.

Go back to Ryan’s instagram the last 5 years. He mocks and belittles Blake ALL.THE.TIME.

For a while it was cute, it made them look relatable and self- deprecating. Now through the lens of what ive learned in the last few months about Ryan’s controlling behavior, it looks, well, really sad. I think he gets off on humiliating her and I think it has gone this far in part because he became unhinged and jealous. He doesn’t like her away from the kids - that text he sent Justin asking him to ALTER THE PRODUCTION SCHEDULE by 2 weeks wasn’t sweet, “I want to keep our family together.” It was 100 percent about control. And whose husband texts the producer to shift the schedule l?!?! The audacity.

Blake looked visibly shocked last night by the bit. I bet he told her he was going to be part of the bit but didn’t mention he was going to joke about their situation.

I’m no Blake fan but I feel bad for her. He is abusive.

Doesn’t she have a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress? And she’s out making a joke of her case? Freedman is salivating.

Why would they joke about it? It really does seem to belittle their own stance.

Are they that desperate for a quick laugh?

Yes, in her claim, she said that both she and her children suffered extreme mental and physical stress. I honestly don’t know what they were thinking.

You guys have lost the plot.

They did not joke about the SH. They didn't even joke about the court case. They made a quick joke about how things are going poorly for them right now, and it's in the news a lot. "Why, what have you heard?" is a reference to the fact that people are hearing quite a bit about them right now, and a lot of it is negative. That's it.

Also, if Livley was in fact harassed, it is normal and fine for her to go to an event last night. The alleged harassment happened over a year ago. She is a person. You are allowed to have fun and be seen in public even if a bad thing happened to you one time. No one freaked out when Baldoni was spotted on vacation in Hawaii with his family. No one was like "omg how tasteless to go on vacation after being accused of harassment and retaliation." It's just like, yeah, I bet his family could use a vacation.

I don't know if Livley was harassed (I was not there). I don't know if Baldoni is a good guy or not (I don't know him). This case is interesting and I am following it to see what will happen, but I don't get some of this commentary. It's deranged. He made the smallest of jokes about the fact that they are having a tough time right now. Who cares???????

If I had been sexually harassed and people accused me of lying about it, and then my husband made a joke about it on national tv, I would no longer be married. But that’s just me.

Blake and Ryan deserve to be blacklisted when they lose this case.

She was obviously in on it. That joke was forced into the show by their powerful friends. The fact that she was in on it tells you everything they've accused Justin of is a big lie. A real victim would never in a million years agree to make light of it.

They weren't really making fun of the substance of the allegations, just that it's a lot going on. It was pretty savvy IMO. They were able to poke light without making a mockery of the topic.

I wonder what Scarlett Johansson and her husband thought of that skit. She’s part of the SNL family and dodged a bullet with Ryan Reynolds by not having his babies.

Ryan is doing anything he possibly can to salvage his own rep, even if that includes throwing his liar wife under the bus!
