No one has to agree or diasgree with things that happen in the world. That is weird phrasing. I don't have to have an opinion on everything. I can't do anything about everything that happens in the world.

Police say 35-year-old Tel Aviv resident stole guns, ammunition and equipment while masquerading as a cop, an officer in counterterror unit and a Shin Bet operative since Oct. 7

A Tel Aviv resident was charged Sunday with stealing military and police weapons, apparently taking advantage of the chaos after Hamas’s deadly October 7 attack on Israeli communities along the Gaza border, with the intent to sell them on the black market.

Hebrew media outlets reported that the suspect, Roi Yifrach, was even photographed with both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant at assembly areas in the south between October 7 and his arrest on December 17, while apparently using fake identities to pose as a combat soldier.

According to the indictment served in, the Tel Aviv District Court, Yifrach, 35, never served in the Israeli military but nonetheless managed to make his way into the war zones. He was accused of stealing arms and equipment while fraudulently posing as a policeman, an officer in the elite Yamam counterterrorism unit, and a Shin Bet operative, in the weeks after October 7.

Yep, just like the shills who are quick to call people antisemitic because they don't like what was said. #snowflakes

Stereotyping Jews in bad ways is anti Semitic. Yes, sane people will not like that and call it out.

If the Jews attempting to prosecute the case on behalf of Israel here in this forum are representative, at least some of the behavioral stereotypes unfortunately seem quite true.

If the shtreimel or yarmulke or whatever fits, I guess.

Actually, I don't see that Jews here are prosecuting for the existience of Israel, as if there needs to be a reason for it to exist. It exists now that is all that matters. I see a lot of people arguing that Jews think God told them that Israel is there and that the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians are inferior people. But Jews are not saying that. They are living their lives, and some happen to live in Israel, and do not want Israel to go away. Pro Palestinians are working really hard on here to convince all that the status quo needs to go way--but those of those happy with the status quo are not going to spend their time arguing for it on a message board. What you do see here is a lot of non Jews standing up against the anti Semitism we see here and also against the frankly illogical arguments proposed.

Yes, yes, yes to all of this PP. And thank you for articulating this so well. My sentiments exactly.

The best I can reckon, there are bad apples on both sides.

For the Palestinians, it's clearly Hamas and other groups dead set on trying to use terror as a means of political advancement. Israel is established, it's not going anywhere, and this pattern of running their heads into the same wall is tired. But also part of the problem are garden variety Palestinians and Arab groups around the world who don't help matters by refusing to support "less than ideal" solutions to this never-ending conflict. It really is bizarre that these groups collectively work against their own interests so often, which frankly makes them unsympathetic on many levels.

On the other side, you have the settler community in and around the Middle East, the hardcore Zionists from Eastern Europe like Bibi Netanyahu and his ilk, maybe 5 - 10% of the Jewish population outside the U.S., and then fully 1/3 or more of the American population who identify as Jewish. The latter group is absolutely boorish and incapable of making a single point without crying victim and bludgeoning anyone and everyone with the anti-semitism hammer. It's too easy because most people bristle and just go away after being tarred with the anti-semite libel, but the problem is that that's the precise aim. Whatever it takes to get them to stop talking because what they say threatens to upset the apple cart.

I am not sure how you came up with this conclusion.

The US may have applied pressure, or maybe not. Going over Congress to keep sending weapons doesn't seem to me as appropriate pressure.

IDF has not changed tactics. There are over a hundred people in Gaza killed each day, sometimes several hundreds.

no, actually, they have changed.

Yes they started killing more Palestinians civilians and admitting the targeting of refugees camps. It is pretty clear the goal is to level Gaza and kill or displace the 2.3 million Palestinians. Biden fully supported Bibi and laughs at the 23,000 Palestinians dead. Can’t wait to vote against Biden.

Are the launching rockets from those "refugee camps"? Holding hostages there? Hiding tunnels underneath? Because if they are, then blame Hamas for using their women and children as cover.

Remember that returned hostages are saying they were held in families' apartments. A UNRWA school teacher was one of their jailors. One of the hospital chiefs in a hospital where a hostage was held was himself a Hamas officer. Hamas fighters are using ambulances to get around. This bright line between civilians and combatants doesn't neatly exist in Gaza, unfortunately.

But facts don't matter to propagandists. You'll allege that Israel lies about all of this while conveniently forgetting to acknowledge who Hamas are because it won't suit the narrative you are here to force on us.

Are you really that gullible to treat taped confessions as true? After that doctor interview people who actually know Hamas were saying Hamas doesn’t even have the rank he said he had.

Oh sure sure everyone is lying, all of this is all a massive, organized, orchestrated Israeli lie to falsely smear Hamas. Hamas was just sitting there peacefully minding their own business knitting blankets for orphans and all of that, and then Israel staged an attack and killed 1200 of their own people as a false flag, and then started attacking Gaza for absolutely no reason. Sure.

No. There are witnesses, there is a ton of evidence that proves Hamas has been using civilians and refugee camps as cover. Stop being so gullible to believe Hamas propaganda.

I believe taped confessions posted by Israel as much as I believe the yahoos from ZAKA, which is to say not at all.

Dude (or, dudette, but most likely dude), you have the craziest persecution complex. No one here is out to get you, no one is cancelling you, no one is silencing you, and no one here, no matter how calm and reasonable they are, can possibly change your mind about anything. You can literally type, say, write anything you want with no recourse . There are only two things that can shut you up, an act of nature (or God) and Jeff blocking your IP. The rest of us, no matter how much you believe it, don’t have magic Jew lasers that can silence you.

Think all you want, but no one has to agree that all or any of this is true and/or meaningless to consider w/o context. Saying this is not calling you anti Semitic.

What kind of context do you need to think bombing hospitals, sniping women hiding in churches, and murdering your own hostages is bad? And why are you (or others) calling posters antisemitic for believing that?

Yep, there is a context for everything. Also, you have motives for what stories you share and which ones you ignore. Lastly, in sharing all.this info, you want us to then agree to your prescribed resolution. Do you really think you are going to back people into a corner to do what you want?

Because they do need "their own" anything. They can choose to live as part of Israeli society like other Arabs in Israel do. Ok they may want "their own" this and that but Israel and the rest of us are not required to care. You can talk talk talk all the day long.

They can use their billions in international aid to build a society instead of a terror tunnel network. You’re such a jackass, dude , and still running with it days later!
