People were expecting a ruling by Cannon yesterday. Not sure why it hasn’t happened yet.
Anonymous wrote:Still potential for criminal charges?

Oh yes, the special master questions don’t really affect that.

It’s all the same track dude. Selling secrets to the Saudis and laundering the money through a golf tournament (didn’t he do the same thing with beauty pageants in Russia?) , plotting a coup, who knows. It’s all bad, he’s bad.

Also, didn't Dumptruck ban Muslims? Aren't Saudis Muslim? So they can't come to this turney, right?

Somehow, I doubt that Trump is, or ever was/will be, involved in maintenance of any kind. Here's a link to meeting about Saudi visit.

Trump’s Muslim ban notably did not include Saudis.

This! There is no way he is pointing at parts of the golf course saying, "I want a Diet Coke stand here. " I don't think he would have flown there to be involved at ALL with changing the golf course or getting it ready. I'm not sure what was really going on, but this ain't it.

The perceived prestige associated with the tournament, not to mention the influx of cash, are the only two things motivating TFG. The PGA dropped him. Nobody wants to license his name. It’s all he has. It gives him validation. And it breaks the monotony of throwing plates of ketchup at walls.

But seriously who do you think these people are? At least three have been IDed as golf operations staff.

Now, TFG says there will be "big problems" for the country if he's indicted:

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday the nation would face "problems ... the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen" if he is indicted over his handling of classified documents after leaving office, an apparent suggestion that such a move by the Justice Department could spark violence from Trump's supporters.

“If a thing like that happened, I would have no prohibition against running,” Trump said in an interview with conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt. “I think if it happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”

Hewitt asked Trump what he meant by “problems.”

“I think they’d have big problems. Big problems. I just don’t think they’d stand for it. They will not sit still and stand for this ultimate of hoaxes,” Trump said.

On Capitol Hill, senior FBI and DHS officials briefed members of the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security committees Thursday on the uptick in threats against federal law enforcement in the aftermath of the Mar-a-Lago search.

“It was stunning the number of threats that have been cataloged since the Aug. 8 search of Mar-a-Lago,” Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said after the briefing, specifically mentioning the gunman who tried to enter an FBI building in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the days following the search. “It’s a much more dangerous environment because of the political statements made by some individuals since Aug. 8 — it’s alarming to me.”

Durbin said the threats ranged from explicit and specific to more generalized ones, most notably on social media. He also called out Trump for his rhetoric

Does anyone think this is not a call for violence if TFG gets indicted?

Mobster voice: "Nice country you got there. Sure be a shame if something happened to it."

Of course it is. Luckily this country spent many billions of dollars building up anti-terrorism tools over the last 20 years. Shame we need to use them at home, but I’m not scared. Eff him.
