Mmm, I’m pretty sure he’s a good enough lawyer to know that he’s not gonna a screw around with DOJ. A congressional deposition is a not the same thing as a grand jury subpoena. He can’t assert Executive privilege here like he can with Congress. He was not Trump’s personal lawyer, his communications aren’t protected by attorney-client privilege.
