Are they depressed? I know a couple people who went into deep depression when they lost their jobs at such a young age.

Not yet. They’re largely tech so they haven’t faced lay offs like this before. There was always another job waiting. I think depression will set in soon though. I really worry about them. Age discrimination is real and they’re at that age.
