I read this article too. She clearly has a serious mental health issue going on. She may have had physical health issues at some point, but not right now. I feel sorry for her kids. They are very young. Having her home (and likely not engaged) for just a few days, just to leave again, seems cruel to them. |
| She looks like she is on drugs in that picture. Why is she clinging to him? He is not clinging back and looks really embarrassed. |
| She might have been in a better place if Albert’s illegitimate children didn’t keep coming out of the woodwork. |
| I didn’t read all the posts but does anyone remember when she tried to leave the country before the wedding. It was something like she was blacked from leaving. I remember thinking this is a crazy way to marry. He had to talk her into coming back from the airport. Clearly she is trapped or feels she is trapped. Nuts |
She will lose her kids if she leaves. |
| I have to wonder if she attempted suicide. I just can't imagine how horrendous her condition must be for them not to have just agreed that she would stick it out through today and then disappear again. |
| Does she have mental health issues or is she in a hostage situation? I seriously wonder, as both seem equally feasible. |
| Looking at the pictures and the way this is framed, I think an eating disorder is a real possibility: https://people.com/royals/prince-albert-tells-people-princess-charlene-in-treatment-facility/. |
I do remember reading this, and I could not figure out how she couldn't just leave, or at least not go through with the wedding. |
Are they supposed to stay hidden? They were born before he went official with her. |
I also think it’s an eating disorder |
|
So I don’t know what to believe. I wonder if she came back for the children and realized they could not leave with her. Then Albert spun up the rehab story.
Why on earth does he have the kids holding up we miss you mommy signs?! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10220889/Masked-royal-family-turn-force-Monacos-National-Day.html |
Setting up court-proof that she's an unfit mother. Just like he had to show he was a single parent for 8 months by bringing them on his work 'trips'. Not that I think Charlene is all there and cares anyway but I think it'll be quietly announced that a divorce has been filed in 2022 and the heirs are staying with their father no matter what happens to Charlene. She's basically become Prince Philip's mother - who spent quite a few years in a sanatorium for a similar reason.
|
| Another one here who suspects an eating disorder. |
|
Also notice the signs are in English. The official language of Monaco is French.
Those kids of course speak French, English, and the Monegasque dialect fluently but Albert is waging a shrewd international PR war. He knows he's being portrayed as a cheating husband - that doesn't bother him as much as the possibility as this is threatening his rule as he's seen to browbeat his 'poor, depressed' wife. Getting her family to agree to stage an intervention, showing the kids have been clearly negatively effected, and he's just the poor single father trying to make it all better and not the autocratic billionaire king of a country goes a long way to saving his throne. |
