Great. Now the wonderful Viva, cloth type paper towels are going to sell out as people hoard.

To the very long list maker: My husband got a 20lb bag of rice. So sweet he provides.

I stocked up a bit on bottled water and paper goods and meds (advil for adults/kids, mostly). We already keep a ton of shelf-stable food. I buy a lot of freeze-dried fruits and veggies and keep dried beans and rice around regardless. We’d be a bit bland but nutritionally fine for a few weeks at least.

Not sure if you got an answer, but some pages have passed so:
Kids OTC pain meds. I already have a lot of adult ones b/c I had a lot of headaches recently
Musinex b/c that's my husband's go-to cold med.
Afrin b/c that's my go-to cold med.
allery meds for this entire season.

I'm not sure prepping is necessary but I do wonder if we will have drug component shortages from China.

This title made me laugh. Of course the most obese nation in the world is worried about running out of food.

We ain't alone in being fat. I assume you are one of the skinny ones pp?

Feel like this article should be renamed “The United States has the highest obesity rates... Among the Countries you’ve heard of.” The top ten are so obscure.

Even in the hospital where I work we are only using them in emergencies. Other than that, nobody is stockpiling anything. Regular supplies of children’s Tylenol/ibuprofen on our shelves.

Shocking.

Same where I live in Southern California.

Hand sanitizer is sold out everywhere i've checked locally and online.

I got a bunch just yesterday in Virginia. My local grocery store had displays full of it yesterday as well. So I don't think it's out everywhere.

Need random stuff like hand sanitizer and toilet paper?

Aldi and Trader Joe’s.

You good to go!.. or should I say good to stay

List is nice if it works for you.
Where is dry parmesan? And other cheese since yoy think pizza..?
PB?
Extra spices like pepper..
Nuts. You have no nuts..raisins
No oats...?
BUtter to freeze extra in ziplock so it wont smell freezer..

Potatoes
Onion
Celery sticks

I have shaker cheese. One jar of PB because I'm the only one who will eat it. BUT, you jogged my memory that Nutella would be a good thing to have on hand for my kid. Same on nuts and dried fruit, we have a bit, but my kid doesn't like it and I don't really need those dense and tempting calories lying around. I do have 5lbs of butter in the freezer, lots of spices. I'm set on storable fruit and vegetables. I also got cheap lemonade and fruit punch mix, in case of not great tasting water or rehydration needs.

Still on my list: dehydrated seaweed and mushrooms and a handle of makers mark.

Yesterday our Target had them in stock and I ordered online for pickup today 5 bottles. Yes, I am hoarding lol. I saw in the store the shelf was completed wiped, but they are a cart full that people were picking from...not even enough time to get them on the shelf. Just now I checked and they have nothing in stock at all.

Target still has stock to ship to your home if you want to try that. Avoid Amazon...it is basically third party sellers price gouging.

By horsing hand sanitizer, you know you’re keeping it from sick people, which makes it more likely you will get it.

NP. 5 bottles is hardly hoarding worthy of a lecture but either way that's not the way it works. PP is really just keeping it from the next person who would have stocked up.

DH went to Costco yesterday and bought some hand sanitizer. They limited it to two bottles per membership.

It’s me and a tween. Got a box of Samoas in the fridge and told him no touchy. My wine stash stays topped off.

Other than our monthly re-up, I’m not stockpiling or hoarding anything. I don’t see the point. This is America. I am positive we will not go hungry.

Why do people stock up on bottles water, are people expecting issues with the water supply? What’s the obsession with toilet paper? The way some of you are acting, you’d think the country is under siege or something and we’re heading to apocalypse.
