That is not dementia. It's meandering, but he brought it back to his pathetic analogy to the simplicity of his idea that people who buy cars fully made in America (which don't exist, BTW) should get a break on the interest they pay on their car loans.

His ideas are all corrupt and stupid, but he's able to stay on point despite his meanderings.

o Rigidity in thinking, evidenced by an inability to adapt or revise opinions, often manifesting as “doubling down”

o Amplification of maladaptive personality traits, such as paranoid (invented threats), narcissistic (excessive focus on self), or antisocial (criminal and dangerous) personality traits

o Disinhibition in speech, such as the frequent use of vulgar, profane language or hate speech

o Disinhibition in behavior, such as impulsive decision making or aggression and violence

Most of MAGA is far more advanced in diagnosing dementia than anybody on the left. There's something about MAGA that just sees reality where the left can't. It's a blessing and a curse.

Why can’t it be both? I (left leaning) was really angry that Biden and Trump were the options twice - I think both are / were mentally unwell and I’m sick of the old men running our country. Trump does remind me a lot of my (younger) mother with dementia but Biden was frail for years. Unlike Trump, however, policies under Biden didn’t destroy life as I know it. Trump has or will (federal employee, child with special needs etc).
