How else do you distinguish between MLSN clubs that do not charge players and MLSN clubs that do charge players, without using the word "Academy" (it so overused now it has no meaning - it is literally bad).

No it's really not and how often are the young academies even playing international. If they don't do it, it's not because of international competition.
