They’re not illicit narcotics, he has an Rx for them. He presumably planned to take them later in the day if and when his back flared up on the golf course. I can see how he figured it was no big deal. He probably didn’t think a cop would be conducting a search of him either.

In most jurisdictions in the U.S., it's illegal to transport any prescription meds in a container other than the bottle from the pharmacy, with label intact. It's particularly important when the prescription is for a controlled substance.

Body cam also shows the landscaping truck illegally parked half on the shoulder of the road, half in the road, thus REQUIRING drivers to pass it. It appears Tiger successfully passed the truck and trailer, but clipped the trailer's tiny wheels which poke out further than the trailer. It's honestly not that hard to do on a narrow two-lane road. And when you clip a low-profile tire like that, you will tip any SUV. Speed was not a factor. He would have tipped the Range Rover going 20 or 30, too.

You're insane to blame the landscaping truck for an addict driving and crashing while intoxicated (who also brought 2 extra pills for the road for later). Footage shows him in the police car with glazed eyes he can barely keep open. Woods is 100% solely responsible for the crash.
