They’re not illicit narcotics, he has an Rx for them. He presumably planned to take them later in the day if and when his back flared up on the golf course. I can see how he figured it was no big deal. He probably didn’t think a cop would be conducting a search of him either. |
Hope he now understands it IS a big deal to drive impaired and have 4 car accidents. |

He is going to rehab.
I would hate having a driver. I love to drive and the independence of driving and the freedom it gives you would be hard to give up. There are lots of normal life things famous people can't really do anymore due to being hassled and I feel like driving is something they can still do and be out in public without being recognized. He has a major substance issue that needs treatment. He should lose his license for a few years. |
| I watched The View today. It was shameful to see Whoopi go soft on Tiger. The only person who spoke any sense was Joy who said that Tiger should have a driver. Tiger is supposedly worth $1.3 billion. There is no need for him to be risking the lives of others. Even I know to Uber rather than drive if I intend to drink alcohol when I go out. Tiger has enough money for a chauffeur and a limo to take him around. |
Having a driver won't help the substance abuse problem. |
No, it won't help the substance abuse problem, but it will make the roads safer for others. |
Not sure why you're defending him. Just because he has a prescription doesn't mean the drugs aren't dangerous or that what he did is any less horrible. He could have killed someone, he could have killed himself, he could have killed himself and someone. He gets zero passes because he's rich and famous. He's wrecked his car before. He should not have a drivers license at all and should go to jail. |

Tiger is a complete mess and of course a former Trump spouse is involved with him.
Fortunately for the Trumps, we have Byron to stew on now. |
no one, not one single person claimed it would |
100% on everything. I'm from a small town and am old as hell and we didn't have all the entertainment people have now. When we were old enough, we just drove around. Driving was a joy. Now I'm concerned about losing driving skills as I age. Once covid hit and my kids were out of the house I rarely ever drove and I saw my skills decline. I became that person in the right lane doing 10 below the speed limit who wouldn't go out at night and made excuses not to visit friends an hour away because of the driving. It really limited my life and it was a burden on my husband. I try to drive around often. Driving is too important to independence. |
+1 |
Or he is addicted , and most have opioids on him at all times, to avoid withdrawal. He has chosen rehab, which makes you sound wrong. |
Imagine how they would treat an immigrant with a similar history 🤔 |
|
How many times has this guy done rehab?
He's probably in the depths of a painful withdrawal at this exact moment. |
In most jurisdictions in the U.S., it's illegal to transport any prescription meds in a container other than the bottle from the pharmacy, with label intact. It's particularly important when the prescription is for a controlled substance. |
