Exactly. Whoopie doo. I'm far more concerned about the nearly 500 mass shootings last year. That's been causing FAR more damage than ten college athletes. As has the fentanyl epidemic. Trump still doesn't listen to experts on how fentanyl even gets into the country and still thinks it's illegal migrants muling across the desert. Americans driving vehicles with American license plates drive it right through the border checkpoints. The issue is we need better scanning and detection technologies, which is one of the many things that was in the Lankford border bill, but Republicans lied about it, said it was a crappy bill that gives mass amnesty (it doesn't) and killed it. And touted their own bill as supposedly vastly better - even though they didn't even mention the word fentanyl in theirs.
