What is your federal agency telling you re: RTO? (No other rants/comments!)

need to put it out for bid, then potentially do modifications to make it GSA-compliant. 6 mos-1year. But also see any move that any government office has tried to do in the DMV. They often take years.

I see the Trump administration doing away with so many regulations to get people into buildings. It's going to be miserable.

I am an Army civilian 100% remote we are told to stand by and wait for guidance, meanwhile continue teleworking. It’s not that easy to bring everyone back to the bases, many things to consider (buildings, food, security etc) so most likely this will not be happening in 30 days. Waiting to see what actually comes down the pipe.

Maintain current posture per acting S-1 via DOECAST. They are working on specifics.

Thanks, at a FFRDC so whatever happens might end up trickling down.

Took my agency 2 years to move after a spot was even identified and leased. It was built to suit. The worst part was that GSA made all our cubicles even smaller than before

Not that poster but a different nasa person. Email said remote workers would be contacted individually to discuss status and plans.

It did say if you can’t start next week that you should contact your supervisor to discuss plans to comply by 2/28, so that’s something. I’ve already told my supervisor I won’t be on site five days this week. An email at 6:30 Friday night is ridiculous to except people back on Monday.

Same with FDA. No guidance, no one seems to be in charge because most high level feds already resigned and Trump admin hasn't appointed any acting people.

Not sure what will happen on Monday because there is no room for even all those currently teleworking from the agency buildings a few days a week to be there all at the same time. Assume many won't see the email until Monday morning.

It's the most bizarre unorganized mess I have ever seen. Being notified after 5pm on Friday to report this Monday. Expect an entire SNAFU and no actual work accomplished on Monday.

Are you saying FDA sent out an email different than the HHS one, or merely that the HHS email came out after 5:00? HHS employees have guidance and it’s not everyone returns to work Monday.

DP. I never got anything from FDA. I checked earlier today.
