You sound like an APE. The APE parents of younger kids are lobbying APS for away for the day in high schools, trying to make their "vote" count more than those of actual high school parents. Sit down parents of younger kids. You don't know what you don't know for high school. You got away for the day in middle schools and elem. Maybe be happy with that. How would YOU like it if high school parents come and lobby for MORE screen time in elem and middle schools? |
so i am a student and i had a fever on Friday i was literally about to collapse with exhaustion and i forgot to unlock my pouch and my alarm went off and it wont stop ringing and I’m going insane because I JUST WANNA SLEEP. So now it’ll probably be ringing until i go to school

Yeah, I don't believe you for an instant. But, I'll bite just to reinforce how stupid this is: your battery will wear out before you return to school. Next time, turn your phone off before you put it in the pouch. Meanwhile, surely you - or the adult in your home - can figure out how to put the pouch someplace away from where you're trying to sleep? |
Why are you so mean to this student? Just because their post shows how dumb the pouches are. Grow up. |
Because I don't believe it's a real student. What student, feeling exhausted and feverish, looks up a relatively old thread on DCUM to make this comment? And if it is a real student, my comments about the battery and figuring out how to put it away out of hearing distance would remain the same. |
Phones are supposed to be off or silenced before locking them in the pouches, too. So, is this a real student or a troll? |
I have no idea, but it doesn't seem too farfetched that a student would forget to turn a phone off before putting it in the pouch. Pretty sure mine has done that before or if not, I could see her doing it. |
My kid is in an pouch school and I've posted on this thread before. My kid doesn't use it any more and I doubt many others do. It's at the bottom of the backpack. |
