True. Justice Keegan declined a gift of bagels for fear of anything that would hint of impropriety. That’s the kind of person who should be on the Supreme Court. Every government employee I know follows the rules and takes optics and professionalism seriously. Then this yahoo smears them all. |

Most of the Republicans on the court are a smear. Gorsuch’s ethics are shady at best, Thomas and his wife helped plan the insurrection that Alito supports, Kavanaugh and Roberts were involved in getting W installed in the White House and all the right wing justices lied in their confirmation hearings. |

You know, this usually doesn't happen with the spouses of appointees. We tend to follow the ethics guidelines of our appointed/elected spouses lest we call into question their own conduct. Perhaps you don't like it, but it's usually a discussion between spouses before an appointment/running for office. |
