I've heard coaches and parents say it's "politics" when kids are picked or not picked for a team. Curious to know what politicking you all have done or seen.

Not trolling. I am legit asking. I heard a coach say it's a lot of politics on these ECNL teams. He doesn't come off as a creep so I assumed he wasnt talking about sleeping with a coach.

- the son of the team manager
- the son of the coach
- player whose TD is also his personal trainer
- players that were with the team since u little
- the friend(s) of the team ball hog
- parents who are big donors to the college that recruits players from the club
-etc etc
- the parent always talking to coach, she gives him nice presents or brings him donuts 🍩 after each game. Coach gets fat but the player is sent to USYNT camp 😂

Um, no? We don't need a new size every single year. In fact, with all three kids in soccer I've never needed to buy a new uniform every single year for any of them. Greedy clubs do force the issue, though, which is ridiculous. I usually buy a jersey a size up to allow for use in future seasons.

I've yet to meet a single family that actually needs a full uniform set every single year. It is a scam. 100%.

lol Wow! Yea, My wife and I are none of those things and neither is my kid. Should be an interesting tryout season.
