I don't have a problem with peaceful assembly. But if they block my path to work, it's not peaceful and it is infringing on my right to use the roads I paid for. Hagerstown is a good place for them in that parking lot. I'm good with that.

DP. I saw that too. Youngkin is trying to establish bona fides as a trumper. He’ll let truckers shut down the beltway for days. And stick it to ordinary feds (not a class of people he likes) trying to gnome from work. Added bonus: showing ROVA he’s their Governor and screwing over NOVA.

It ends up blocking people getting to the CIA and pentagon, and other critical government agencies. But I doubt he cares at all. If he gets tough with Trumpers, his political career is over. In its second month.

Of course a blocked beltway on VA quickly becomes a traffic disaster in MD.

How’s his kid going to get to school in Maryland? If he wants to start crap with Northern Virginia, I’d be glad to participate in an SUV convoy to block 123 on the next long holiday weekend. It doesn’t take an army of trucks to effectively shut down Great Falls.

More than a thousand trucks wasting time protesting mandates that no longer exist. How does that make any sense when there are so many shortages and delivery issues right now? Don't these truckers need to make a living? Don't they care about the groceries and building supplies and cars and medical supplies and everything else that needs to be trucked around this country?

I’m not in need of a safe room or anything, so I’m hardly a snowflake. I just think that resorting to fat jokes, really anything appearance-related, is about as shallow and weak-minded as you can get.
