Wednesday, 2/9: investigation reveals Saget died of a head injury from an "obvious bruise" on the head. Police speculate Saget did not know extent of injury and simply fell asleep, then died. No drugs or alcohol involved.

Thursday, 2/10: full autopsy release - abrasion of the posterior scalp, subgaleal hemorrhage, linear fracture of the base of the skull, comminuted fractures, subdural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage and contusions. Um, how did the cops and EMS miss that? Medical examiner postulates: "It is my opinion that the death of Mr. Saget was the result of blunt head trauma. His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall. A toxicology analysis did not reveal any illicit drugs or toxins. The manner of death is accident." Oh, but he did have Klonipin in his system
