The location on his head looks like where I hit my head when I bend over to pick something up and then come up and klonk on the back of my head. Like if he dropped his cell phone under the desk or something. That hurts like heck, and I can see just going to bed after swearing up a storm.
Did you hit the back of your head so hard that you broke the orbital bones around your eye sockets? Because that's what happened to Bob Sagat.
The force required to smash the back of his skull, crack the sides of his skull, and break the orbital bones around his eyes is tremendous. It's the force equivalent to a baseball bat to the head at full speed or a multi-story drop onto concrete.
That's why this case is so confounding.
