Restaurant recommendation in Cleveland park area

Anonymous
Looking for a restaurant for my husbands birthday near Cleveland park or the surrounds. Will also have his parents there as well as our 2 year old. Doesn't have to be fancy but obviously would like good food.

Suggestions?

Ardeo. Great service and food, and there is something on the menu for everyone.

Medium Rare if you like steak frites.

we love Spices! Yum...great sushi and a pretty big pan-Asian menu.

Dino, if you can get there before it closes (late Feb).

Sorriso would also work. Or if you are willing to venture down to Woodley, Lebanese Taverna is a nice pick.

Second Spices! We love the sushi there. And they are always friendly with my baby.

Ripple!

CP resident here -
Dino, Ripple, Palena, Ardeo, the French place next to CVS, Sorriso, Indique
In that order.

Dino or Ripple

Palena is better than Dino and Ripple.

We love Ripple, but I don't think I've ever seen kids there at dinner time -- maybe families tend to go earlier in the evening? When we've been there, it's been pretty quiet, which is one of the things I like about it.

I take my kid EVERYWHERE and I don't find Palena to be terribly kid friendly (I don't think they have high chairs), although it's a while since we went.

We took my son when he was a toddler and he did fine (and had a high chair), though he is on the low key side.

we've taken our ES-aged kid to Ripple. I think in terms of family friendliness it would go Dino, Ripple, Palena but I haven't been to Palena since they expanded the front room (the back room isn't a good place for a 2 yr old).
