What did you/are you cooking today?

I'm about to start a pot of tortellini/kale/kielbasa soup for dinner, then will make baked bananas for dessert.

I have had the urge to cook all day, but thankfully I have been able to resist since I have had actual work to do.

We were out of town this weekend and I was planning to go to the store today to restock - but that didn't work out! So it's dinner from the freezer - chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and some steamed broccoli.

Homemade chicken pot pie. Yum!

French lentils and sausages - yummy.

Dinner is still in question.

Thx. Duncan Hines butter yellow with a can of chocolate frosting. 2 layers. Simple and works for me. Wish I had the ingredients for Ina's "Beatty's Chocolate Cake" sooooooo good.

Beef stew in the slow cooker.

Takes a while to prep it, then cooks for about 9 hrs. Will be ready at 5:30...mmmmmm.....

Also have beef stew in the crockpot. Bread will go in the oven shortly.

Slow cooker sweet and sour meatballs.

I made Lemon Yogurt muffins for breakfast, and we're having homemade chili for dinner. I was running low on ground beef but I found some frozen meatballs and chopped them up and it seems fine.
