I have had the urge to cook all day, but thankfully I have been able to resist since I have had actual work to do.

What is it? Recipe please.

I am just now seeing this -- hope you didn't want it for tonight. I have actually never tried it, but it looks tasty & simple.

Did beef stew over mashed potatoes yesterday. Coconut curry chicken/cauliflower and rice tonight. If we have another snow day tomorrow, I'm going to do something with beans or lentils. Maybe a lentil soup.

I did steak, roasted Brussels sprout, bacon and toasted hazelnuts last night (with bread).

Lunch today was a baked potato with roasted broccoli and cheddar.

Dinner was black bean soup with smoked paprika, sour cream and tortilla chips.

If we have another snow day tmw, mini pizzas with goat cheese, leftover steak and roasted broccoli.

I made chicken stock from Ina Garten's recipe this morning. That went into the lamb barley soup from the New England Soup Factory cookbook. The Penzey's catalog arrived, so I also made the Zuppa Toscana (sausage, kale and potato soup) for the rest of the week.
