These school buses are the bane of the school system.

The district is too big. It shouldn't cover the whole county. I get there are economies of scale for that but realistically Bethesda doesn't get the same weather that Poolesviile or Barnesville does.

The temperature won't rise above 24-25 for the rest of the week. There will be no melting. So will schools be closed the rest of the week?

Come one. We have six inches at most. There is no reason to close the schools. The main streets are wet. The urban legend of the sliding and crashing school buses is just that. A legend. No child has ever been seriously injured in a school bus crash in the history of Montgomery County.

Upper MoCo has 6-8 inches. Windchill -10 tomorrow morning. Schools will be closed. No doubter.
