He was part of an attack on the government, yes. |
You think there’s no “diff” being in jail awaiting sentencing vs. being at home? |
Nope. When you know you wont get a fair shake, and the place you are going is pure hell, there's no diff. 69 year old cancer patient placed in jail for two months. A frail older lady. Hope you all feel like real he-men |
Do the crime, do the time. |
I truly don't get why the MAGAs keep saying "they were waved in."
It doesn't exonerate ANYONE. It doesn't magically make the smashed windows and doors go away, it doesn't make all the violence go away. There were 1200 police and security, but just because a handful of them "waved in" rioters, that means absolutely nothing. If anything, it brings those officers into question. The overwhelming majority of police did their best to do their duty, to try and defend the Capitol. The handful that didn't - at best went derelict on their duties and abandoned their responsibilities, and are not fit to serve. At worst they aided and abetted the violent terrorists. Those officers need to be investigated. Some of them probably belong behind bars with the rest of the J6 terrorists. |
I agree this should apply to all. How about you? |
+1 If a cop tells me I can steal a car off of a car lot, it doesn't mean I can legally steal it. I wouldn't expect to be set free when other cops arrest me for stealimg it. |
Actually it means a lot. Police waving people in can be legally taken as an invite. |
Right wing propaganda is keeping you dumb. One might ask you why you keep going back to a well that is clearly poisoned, but you seem to take it unquestioningly. She wasn’t just some innocent tourist who came to see the sensitive plant at the Botanic Garden and oopsie daisies found herself somehow in the Capitol building. You lunatics are fine with the instant death penalty for Black people for people selling loosies and spending alleged counterfeit bills, so this woman who, like you, believed all the propaganda and went to the Capitol and purposely made the day more dangerous deserves far more prison time than she got. ![]() https://lawandcrime.com/u-s-capitol-breach/idaho-woman-69-gets-jail-time-after-needlessly-distracting-police-on-jan-6/amp/ |
You actually would have a great case against the officer and would probably indeed be set free, so long as it was on video or audio. Probably would have the charges dropped. |
Then you should be celebrating the prosecution of the J6 rioters. |
My problem is equal application of law. How about you? |
He wasn’t even sentenced yet and he pled guilty. How do you know his treatment was unequal? Unequal to whom? |
Same. I have a problem with how easy the J6 rioters are having it. George Floyd was killed over $20. |
That isn’t what happened, delusional gaslighter. |
