Kate was adamantly opposed to George attending Etan. It’s got a bad rep (boys are exactly humble, in touch with society, etc. Not the crowd Kate wants G to be dropped into 24/7). She was pushing for her school - coed, nicer culture, etc.

William won that battle and George is going to Eton.

Thoughts are that Kate is using all the leverage she’s got to turn that decision around.

I don't like that theory. I do not think she'd drag her health into it. She'd just refuse to appear, or otherwise cooperate.
