I mean, educate the voters on the issues but I’d like to have the context for that quote. You’ve seen how the electorate has voted regarding abortion this year, yes?

Not PP but I think t’s from this New York Times article today.

The forced birther states are going to be gutted of obstetrical care, and of gynecological care. And it’s all their own doing.

What’s with sowing despair? Do you not remember a few weeks ago? Do you think people have suddenly changed their minds? No, son. The authoritarians and fascists are going to keep doing what they’re doing, but the voters generally don’t want it when they know what it means.

You know what. If it is harder for MAGAs to have children, that's fine with me. If there is a population drop in conservatives states, that's fine. When the 2030 and 2040 censuses come out, there will be a shift in the House of Representatives and those states will have fewer Congressmen. I have no problem with this.

If the GOP played the long game with the judicial branch, the Democrats can play the long game in the legislative branch.

Of course they gotta shut that down. If they even up access with money, pregnancy and birth won’t be the death sentence it is for so many minority women.

Let’s all say it together, “the cruelty is the point.”

Ya’ll didn’t think they actually wanted little babies of color being born, did you?
Nah.
That was a cute talking point. They do not want their hard earned tax dollars being sucked up by that. Lord no.

I think they have “undoing the 13th Amendment” on their personal check lists, so after that point, yes, they’re going to want more babies of color born. Not yet though. So you are correct.

Or… we can just vote the GOP into oblivion and undo the damage they’ve done. That would probably work better.

It is my hope that among those women who were forced birth before being confronted with what that means fully have since reconsidered some of their other long cherished beliefs.
