Recommend Best Pair of Every Day Shoes to Wear with Business Suit, Please.

Anonymous
Am heading back to the work force in the new year. I haven't had a work wardrobe in nearly a decade. Could you recommend a good pair (brand/model) of shoes, loafer or heel, that you recommend. Thank you!

I know they are expensive but I really like Ferragamo shoes. They are appropriate for work (at least my conservative office environment) and hold up very well. They are also very comfortable. I find that whenever I buy cheap shoes they last only a couple of months so in the end it is more expensive than buying a decent pair.

i agree that it is wise to "invest" in good shoes that will last. i love prada shoes and find them to be very comfortable, well made, and worth the money (of course, i've bought them all on sale!). try saks, neimans, and the the salon shoes department nordstrom in tysons right after christmas and you likely can pick up a great pair of shoes for a less-than-normal-but-perhaps-still-high price.

Head immediately to www.zappos.com. You can browse, select several pairs...shipping is free and so are returns.

You can also find nice Anne Klein shoes at Lord & Taylor if you're on a budget and putting together an entire new wardrobe. I love Prada and Ferragamo also, but not for every day.

I like Born. Www.shoeline.com seems to have the best selection.

LOVE Franco Sarto. They are too expensive. They are stylish and very comfy.

funny, i'd rather spend more on the shoes i'm going to wear everyday (of course, i'm just assuming that's what you mean, sorry if i'm wrong on that).
