Tod's (not the loafers, the high heels) and Ferragamo. |
OP - buy a pair that gets you through the first week. Something ordinary and not too expensive. Maybe on the dressier side.
Then look at the other women in the office. If you read the recs, you will see that we don't all work in the same kind of environment. (Sofft just isn't going to cut it where I work - plus they give me shin splints). You also need to commit to a heel size because of pant hems. If you commute by train, you may want to investigate different shoes for the commute so you don't ruin those fancy farragamos in the rain. If you commute by car, your shoes can be cuter. |
Try the Walking Store for heels that you can walk in. Found the store in Vegas and there is one in Dulles Town Center I think. |
Nice! |
I've heard good things. Are they only available at Nordstrom? |
Is there still one at Pentagon City? Close to Nordstrom if it's still there. |
Is this really an every-day shoe for you? |
My everyday shoes are flats because I work in a very casual office, but if I had to wear a suit (as it seems OP does), I'd pick something like this. I don't like heels, but the Nike Air Cole Haans definitely feel more comfortable to me. |
Where/how do you guys store you shoes. Mine are just on my closet floor in a big heap. |
pp here: Sorry, don't know. I just end up going to Nordstrom's because the service in the shoe department is excellent. |
