Our first DD is Sophie. We would like the new baby to have the middle name "Mae" (my grandmother's middle name). What do you think of these choices? Any other suggestions?

Not Maya!
Why not name her Elizabeth Mae and call her Betsy? |
| I don't know if Maya Mae is a good idea? |
|
None work really well. Agree Elizabeth is a good idea. I'd maybe call her Mae, I like that name.
As an aside, I adore the actress Mae Whitman. She is so talented, it's ridiculous. |

Out of your choises, the only one I would think would work is Aria.
Some other ones I think might be nice are Amelia, Natasha, or Julia. |
| Of that list i would pick Claire, but Elizabeth is a better option |

I think that Mae is a lovely name, and agree that it's also great up front. There are so many first names that work with Mae, but you seem have have chosen some of the few that aren't great.
Aria Mae -- this is lovely Maya Mae -- kind of tongue twistery Betsy Mae -- Elizabeth Mae called Betsy would be lovely, but Betsy Mae as a formal name is very cutesy. Claire Mae -- two beautiful names, but the rhythm of two one syllable names isn't wonderful. Still, if you love the first name Claire, and want to honor grandma, not a bad choice. |
| I like it for a first name. But as a middle name, it sounds kind of country. |
Maya Mae is terrible. Elizabeth Mae, nn Betsy, is my favorite. Claire Mae sounds a bit abrupt (two one-syllable names), but Clara Mae is nice. |
| Jessica |
| Ellie, obviously. Horrible name no matter what you pairit with. |
| We an Eva Mae. Very sweet. |
Or Macra. (I'm being mean. I apologize!) |
