Will she be providing a report critiquing Brett’s memory, behavior and testimony? |
This is about suitability for a job promotion, not for being prosecuted. Hardly any sexual misconduct is prosecuted. |
Not to mention who takes her home and what she says on that drive. She would have to be the most composed 15 year old i have ever met to leave a party where she was almost killed and raped to not giving any hint of any problem on the way home. Come on, a teenage GIRL is that together? |
When I was 16, my abusive boyfriend strangled me unconscious and pushed me out of his truck onto the street. I came to with my face 1 inch from a rolling tire. I got up, walked home and never told my family. I faked pink eye to explain the broken vessels in my eyes and I hid the bruises on my neck with clothing. Everything was completely normal. Nothing to see here. |
Come on.. You guys didn't want him before any of this started. |
How could Franken have fought this? There were pictures! He was unquestionably guilty. He had no choice but to step down. There is no way you can compare this with the response of a man who could very well be innocent of what he's being accused of. |
This is a memo written by Rachel Mitchell, the prosecutor who questioned Dr. Ford. She lists all the inconsistencies in her testimony and gaping holes regarding her memory.

Again. This would never go to trial. We don't want the guy on scotus if we believe her.
If you believe him this is an outrage |
No middle ground here. Millions will be incensed either way this goes. |
Even if Kavanaugh is 100% innocent of the claims made against him, his demeanor and lies before the Senate last week, citing conspiracy theories etc are simply not SCOTUS material. |
Agree but to his supporters it is righteous outrage. This is a mess as usual. |
I don’t agree at all. What I saw was an innocent man who was vehemently defending himself from egregious charges that have forever impacted his life and the lives of his wife and children. You cannot level these allegations against a person and not expect him to be angry and defensive. And, the “what about the lies?” trope is false and desperate. If you want to talk about his demeanor as a judge, let’s look at his 12 years as a judge in the appellate court. Any complaints about his behavior or demeanor? NOT ONE. |
Or how about we look at his record in the Bush administration? Oh right — those papers have not been released. |
Where did you get this memo from? Is this being reported on any of the news sites? What's most damning to me is that she has no memory of how she got home. How can she remember running out of the house but not how she made it back to her house 7 miles away? |
Solid job. Of course, she still is most likely telling the truth. |
