ground beef ideas

Anonymous
I ordered a quarter cow and I have a ridiculous amount of ground beef. My standard recipes include:

chili
meat sauce for spaghetti
burgers
meatloaf
shepherd's pie (with beef instead of lamb)
tacos

What else can I do with it?

TIA!

Why would you order 1/4 cow? Reminds me of that "I Love Lucy" episode wherein Lucy and Ethel did the same and had to hide the beef in the basement freezer and boiler.

I love that episode. My favorite part is when they are trying to sell the meat in the butcher's shop using a baby carriage.

OP--I would go on Pinterest and do a search for "ground beef." You'll get a lot of great ideas. Last night I made "Greek nachos" using ground beef. They were a huge hit. (Toasted pita, ground beef sautéed with cumin and onions, chopped tomato and cucumber, feta and tzatziki on top)

Lots of middle eastern and Indian dishes use ground beef (well, lamb in the Indian dishes-but you can sub in beef).

Hummus with meat
Kofta kabobs
Meatball dishes (thinking beyond Italian style meatballs with pasta)

I also like to do a knockoff beef stroganoff-just use gr beef instead of beef tips.

Jucy Lucy! Just let it cool down before you have molten cheese burns on your lips.

Sounds good! I've never had this. Do you have a recipe?
