Jen Hatmaker

I found it in IG, Facebook only had 3 comments, 2 were negative.

I’m wondering if his comment was a loving way to suggest she explain why she’s become such a shiller to her audience. He tries to say its to increase her influence and sustainability.

She’s the only shiller I have in my online world so I don’t know how she compares with others. Is she shilling harder than the other influencers? It feels non stop, like everything she dyes now is to increase her profits. Even non shilling post feel like manipulation and set ups for future shills.

You may be right. Maybe he's saying it so lovingly and kindly that she can't be mad about it, but his real message is 'explain why tf you are selling crap all the time'

She recommended a book called "When Narcissm Comes to Church" and she shared a quote from the book (on her IG) that made me think of Jen/us/the minions that the narcissist and their audience and that there is a mutually beneficial relationship there. It sounded interesting and I thought it would even be fun to read it with yall hahaha #JensOtherBookClub

JHP does that herself. Her and her husband live very nicely thanks to people funding their lifest…Ed ministry. I also give her 5 years top until she leaves Preston for a woman and I wouldn’t be surprised if Preston has already cheated the way Jackie has gone after women before flirting with her husband. They are both latently miserable people and stuck in a lie I think.

Like the Hatmakers they’re out here giving advice on stuff they don’t know any different about and shilling their kids and parenthood in their own Christian way. (Their kids are adorable).

They’ll likely go the same way as the Hatmakers with everything crashing and burning.

She is a very talented orator though.

So what’s the purpose of Jen’s new post about unhealthy attachment? Is she looking for some empathy/sympathy so we will stop attacking her over here? She’s trying to seem vulnerable. It does make her more likeable. I hate her a tiny bit less.

Love her recent post on communicating in a relationship. Rings true, but it also sounds like she and Tyler are walking thru some thorny issues right now.
She needs to remember Tyler has not walked through 26 years of marriage. He’s never been married at all. His weaknesses will likely be different than hers. When his former relationships got overly difficult he could just walk away. Jen demonstrated real staying power in her marriage even while it was rotting from the inside out after a series of blows.
She and Brandon will have lots to learn in their new relationships to not repeat old unhealthy patterns. Sounds like they are seeing therapists to help them learn. Bravo.

Does Hen strike you as low maintenance? Given the way her tribe serve her at every turn she kind of coke across as a diva.

Brandon’s comment is gone now. Was it meant to be a passive aggressive slam of Jen? He had to have posted it during his “guys” night.

I read it as a very passive aggressive comment. Not sure how he actually meant it.

As someone who went through a very difficult marital patch and divorced over an affair…you never know…they could actually reconcile. I did. We were married for ten years. Divorced for a year. Remarried for ten years.

Lol. Brandon posts a shady comment about Jen “monetizing content”. Tyler comments on Jen’s latest post with fake gushing about how she’s providing therapy FOR FREE when they could use gas money.

These people are children.

Brandon hanging out with his “Grim Guardian” cosplay roadster warriors. Those eyes. Lidded and dopey.

If Jen’s little dittie about emotional vulnerability was free therapy we are in trouble. That’s pretty low level psychological advice, found anywhere. I appreciated her looking at her patterns but it’s far from something worth paying out of pocket for. Oh god, they are setting the stage for next series of me courses.

I missed that post?? What did he say and is it still on her feed?? Dying to know 😁

O dear me....the latest fb post includes comments on (Tyler's) comments and it's just cringey. Tyler chimes in using the cool guy talk and then we have these middle aged women practically swooning, saying they can hear his voice in their heads saying his comments out loud, etc etc etc ..
And so many followers wishing Jen and Ty could "counsel" them?
Who are these women? I don't know any of them. There does seem to be a perpetual state of envy, idealization, and magical thinking among them I wish some of them could figure out that all the Me Camps in the world may not equal an ordinary life grounded in gratitude and humbleness.

Oh no. The JHP comparison is really scaring me. There are some serious parallels w the Hatmakers. JHP seems to like to constantly be doing projects and even when the kids were born it was - let’s get a dog, let’s redecorate the house, I’m enrolling in seminary, etc. Like she can’t sit still and focus . That kind of restlessness makes me think you arent happy or content with what’s in front of you. And the extravagant gift giving ! JHP was saying she was such a good gifter but dang yeah I’d be a super gifter with her budget. I am really concerned . I pray they don’t go the way of Jen and Brandon

The women who fake-gush over Tyler are the same white women who have no black friends.
