Please suggest good DVDs to enjoy for 18 months old toddler boys

Anonymous
hello everyone,
I am not familiar with what is out there, except for Thomas the Engine...
Any suggestions for good DVDs for my 18 months old toddler twin boys? I just bought a few used Thomas the Engine DVDs at a sale. We also have the Baby Einstein DVDs, but they do not seem interested in them.
Would appreciate any suggestions. We do not watch a lot of TV, and would rather just put in a DVD or bring up something on Netflix or Youtube a couple of times per day for them to enjoy, but I don't know what is good out there.

Thanks!

My kids liked Pocoyo. It's on Netflix and NickJr. Each episode is only 7 mins long, but it's pretty cute.

Also, Sesame Street songs were another thing that my kids loved. I made a playlist on YouTube with all the songs, and DS enjoyed that.

My son is surprisingly in love with Winnie the Pooh (1970s version) on Netflix. He usually only watches the first 10-20 min, but that's usually all I want

Mine LOVED Classical Baby. They are 3 and 4 and still request it. I think there are others in the series, as well.

What are you doing letting a 18 month old watch tv????

JUST KIDDING!

+1 for the Bulldozer/digger video. My boys loved that movie.

At that age, all my son wanted to watch was youtube videos of garbage trucks. Toy ones, sometimes, but usually the regular trucks. There are some seriously detailed garbage truck videos out there. I always wonder who makes those--parents of toddler boys?

BabyFirst TV is a channel on DirecTV and has videos on its website, http://www.babyfirsttv.com/ Despite the title (ugh, TV for babies) it's actually pretty good for toddler/preschool age. All educational and learning clips, and they're short enough to hold attention. Our two-year-old loves them.

Mine loved Sesame and Mr. Rogers. in another 6 months or so, maybe Bob the Builder.

My 23 month old son loves Wibbly Pig and Pajanimals. Both of those shows are on Sprout (you can record them or watch on demand). They're very short, which is good or bad depending on your needs I think you can also watch them on www.sproutonline.com

He also loves Paw Patrol, which is a little faster-paced and flashy, so I tend to limit that one. I think that's on a nick channel.

ELMO! DS is 20 months and Elmo is his favorite thing on the iPad when we travel. I also have a bunch of Elmo & sesame street DVDs for crappy weather days that he really enjoys
