How much do you use the microwave?
How do you feel about reports that microwave is bad for your food- destroys nutrients etc? |
| about once a month when i am desperate. |
Never even if I am super lazy. |
| Daily. I do not believe they eliminate nutrients more than any other method of cooking |
| Used it at most once a month before I had kids . Now I use it a lot. The "nutrient" reports are b.s. |
| Only to quickly defrost muffins. |
| we dont even have one. if we were in a rental that did i would never use it. |
| Daily. Use it to defrost things. Cook frozen veggies. Make baked potatoes. Reheat leftovers. Heat up water for tea. |
| Frequently. Two income household. I cook our dinners weekends and the night before (after the kids go to bed). We come home and I reheat meals in the microwave. It's about the only way I can get us home cooked meals when we don't get home until 6:15 and we start the kids bedtime routine at 7:30. |
| Not at all. Don't miss it. |
| Every night to soften my ice cream before scooping it. |
|
Every third day or so, maybe? I don't think much about it. We lived without one for a few years ($$$ issues, not food concern issues). The one we have was a hand-me-down from a friend who was upgrading and asked if we'd like to have it. It's nice for reheating leftovers, but we probably won't replace it when it dies.
Everything gives you cancer. There's no cure, there's no answer. |
| Tons. I steam veggies in it and use it to heat up food and coffee every day. I love my microwave. |
| Almost every day. Couldn't live without it. |
