In other news, Pride Red is in a pool with Coppermine, Hero's Green, and Eagle Stix for Summer Genesis Origins.

Cue the people who will say its about time they play tough competition, and then the naysayers who will say they only have to play Eagle Stix.

The question will be after the tournament, if they do well in that bracket will the push for the Pride to stay together. Combining them with stars doesn’t necessarily improve their situation, especially if politics gets in the way and all of their contributors don’t make it.

I totally get what toy are saying. As I am a patient who had been through this before, not all of the contributors will make Blue. But what I will say is that Orange is still a great option because of Burke. She can really get those girls to some great schools

Let’s not forget, none of these girls are going pro. The goal to all of this is to find them the best college fit for them to start an actual career

Looking ahead to next year, it’s doesn’t look good. It’s basically Capital or bust for most folks in the DMV at this stage with MCE imploded and Rebels looking like they are trying to formulate a new team from scratch.

What are the viable options outside of Capital?

Not only is MCE and Rebels no longer factors, the other younger age teams are not good and continue to get worse. Stars, Pride, Metro all are not good. BLC has some younger teams that are good, but things aren't looking on the up and up.

MnD DC should make things interesting in the DMV.

Anyone good enough for the main MnD will be asked to go there rather than stay at the DC team; it's just another way to stack the flagship team. And most of the 28s are still going to try for Capital first anyway.

You sure about that? Some potential Capital players been seen at MD club practices.

Thank you kind sir or ma'am. It is good news for my dear daughter, who would very much like to play for the Capital Lacrosse Club.

Some of you don't make sense. You go on and on about how even the best players might not make Capital Blue, then act like it's out of the question players would check out other clubs? Logically, if Capital isn't a lock for anyone, then good players who want to play for good clubs should probably be exploring all their options.

All that means is that you are not one of them, and that your daughter's teammates aren't telling you what their plans are. The bridge is being crossed and practices are being attended from more than 1 VA club and to more than 1 MD club.
