+1

Funny I thought the same about Kalinda until she was run off.

+2. Both of them were more compelling than JM.

I agree. I think she is sincere. Her daughters are vapid but I like her.

I think the Challenge on MTV is one of the most underrated shows. Its had over 30 seasons. There is drama, romance, excitement, physical challenges, strategy. The cast has a history together from previous shows.

Everyone knows this. They go for the experience - the props, the dance, the screaming at the screen.

This is true. I wish we could get it back.

I think it is now called Alt Nation on Sirius.

Well, it’s what you get when you provide oral to Weinstein

#MeToo

You know, I know that both of you are thinking you have 'gotcha' comments. And I don't really have an opinion on the Oscar itself or any information on whether JL was intimate with HW (and neither do you), but the fact that a bunch of women were forced to choose between performing sexual favors for that man and their career IS what #metoo was about. If that happened, then she is one of his victims and both of you should be ashamed of yourself for implying that that happened and she was just some sl*t.

NP. Not a fair statement, because there are actually the true victims of this blackmail: all the actresses who didn't do it and paid the price of slow (or fast) fade in the industry.
I don't even blame the ones who decided that giving sexual favors would make a difference in their career and that it was worth it at the time. But it's not cool to come back 2 decades later and act(!) as if it wasn't a rational decision and a choice.

I'm a lesbian and I couldn't disagree with you more.

Yes! He was gorgeous in A River Runs Through It. Not a huge fan otherwise.

I also don't think Bradley Cooper is very attractive.

Both groups are victims. Full stop. One chose to lose their career and the other engaged in coerced sex. Both groups are victims.

He didn’t deserve to get lumped in with the metoo movement and I don’t think he did anything wrong.

I am a woman. I really think Louis C.K. is funny. If he broke any laws, he should have charges filed and be tried in a court of law. He shouldn't be prosecuted in a court of public opinion.

Exactly. Instead he got thrown into the same category as Weinstein.

Sorry but jerking off on the phone while talking to someone who might not be interested (but doesn’t choose to hang up) is light years away from what Weinstein did.

He did more than that:

We've heard from several sources that this shameless funnyman whips [his penis] out at the most inopportune moments, often at times when his female companions have expressed no interest in watching him go at it. A representative example: At the Aspen Comedy Festival a few years ago, he invited a female comedy duo back to his hotel room. The two ladies gladly joined him, and offered him some weed. He turned it down, but asked if it would be OK if he took his dick out.

Thinking he was joking (that's exactly the kind of thing this guy would say), the women gave a facetious thumbs up. He wasn't joking. When he actually started jerking off in front of them, the ladies decided that wasn't their bag and made for the exit. But the comedian stood in front of the door, blocking their way with his body, until he was done.

This is creepy AF.

I think he‘s super funny and his crimes were on the level of a flasher. However, I think his entire case really brought to light that 1. men in more powerful positions cannot “ask“ for permission to jack it in front of women, and 2. grown women need to act like adults and say UHM NO DON‘T DO THAT and then take it to the cops if he continues. Tbh #metoo had a lot of cases of straight up dumb behavior from adult women. Like next time a dude invites you to his hotel room after drinks to talk about your career goals, say no. Just no.

Don Cheadle deserves at least 1 Oscar. He’s the single most versatile actor in Hollywood.

Nicole Kidman is a total snoozefest.

Dp. I don’t view both groups as victims. No one has to be an actress.

Ha interesting. My unpopular opinion in 2015 was that he was gross and “off.” I was assured he was a friendly genius. I am happy to have called this. People are snowed so easily it’s pathetic.

The notion that a millionaire having to take a few months off from performing is some sort of disproportionate penalty for sexual harassment is infuriating. Louis CK is doing just fine. Better than he deserves.
