Dear Trump voter. I’m trying to understand what you are worried about? That Trump is corrupt of that he has been caught?

Because Rudy is clearly involved and I thought this sort of thing was beneath him. And there are all those photos of the two guys with Trump and Don Jr.

As with any big 'news', let it ride a couple days.

The indictment was related to campaign finance violations that were reported in July 2018 — before the so-called “whistleblower” reported the call — and had nothing to do with the subject of the “impeachment inquiry.” The indictment does not even mention Giuliani.

In the meantime, we are finding that the whistleblower has definitely had contact with presidential Democratic candidates and is a registered Democrat, AND worked with Biden at the Obama WH.

Your source for the bolded? Are you aware that the whistleblower's lawyers wrote a letter explaining that the whistleblower had contact with politicians purely in the line of his or her apolitical duties? There is no evidence AT ALL of political bias, and the fact that Trump political appointees thought the complaint was credible should be a point in favor of the whistleblower's general trustworthiness.

You are correct that Giuliani's associates are not mentioned in the complaint. There may be indirect links, but they have not been identified yet. It just seems that a lot of different US government actors had various interests in Ukraine, and Giuliani's actions don't seem to be above board.

One post, and I dismantled this whole thread. Indirect links not identified yet is simply air. What ‘seems’ to be might not be or even better, might be a fabrication.

You did not dismantle any thread. Giuliani was working for the President. His associates gave money to pro-Trump campaigns. There are numerous red flags that some or all of this corruption on Giuliani's part was at the behest of the President. We will know more soon.

As for the matter of election interference , I hope you do not deny the portent of the President's own words, and the fact that he was obviously not joking. Asking for foreign help for a political campaign is an impeachable offense, and that is exceedingly clear. The issue is that some GOP Senators do not want to lose their seats and are therefore willing to go down in history as unethical pawns of the President, unless their constituents indicate they'd rather remove the President from office. The impeachable offense has already been made, however, this is not under discussion anymore.

Which whistleblower? There're more than one.

The initial one. Any others are just noise, given there's a transcript that was released of the call. Were there more to the call, there would have already been overt action. Think about it: if there was hard evidence, they would have moved to vote.

Dude, the whistleblower is moot. Trump has admitted to his crimes, on tv, multiple times.

Then that’s hard evidence. Yet no vote.

Why are you rushing? Let's hear from Yovanavitch and Sondland.

We should hear from POTUS too. "I am not a crook."

Then a vote.

Why do you need more? The whistleblower has spoken and Trump admitted it on live TV. Vote.

I'm not sure you're posting from a perspective of the good of the country.

Also, you're on the wrong thread.

To a prosecutor's eye, this really looks increasingly like one big scheme, overseen by Trump and Giuliani, to obtain illegal assistance from Ukraine in the 2020 election.

Hardly.

There are so many cross connections between Firtash and the Trump inner circle, it is virtually impossible not to implicate just about everyone in the "inner circle" just based on what we know publicly. Even the EU Ambassador is going to testify, because he knows the gig is up and wants to minimize his exposure to this.

Not even GOP senators are defending this. How can they? They all took money from these people.

Yovanavitch is testifying this morning and Sondland has stated that he will testify next week, notwithstanding being told not to from State.

We shall see.

Dream on?

Did you not see the news yesterday about the two people arrested and how they funneled hundreds f thousands into GOP coffers?
Do you not remember GOP Senators spending July 4th in Moscow?
Do you not remember the NRA and Butina and millions of dollars going into the GOP including McConnell's PAC?

Seriously, we can have an honest debate on the merits, but if you are just going to ignore facts and make pithy statements, then a conversation cannot be had.

It is well done, and a good, basic explainer of what's been going on with Ukraine, Rudy, Trump, etc, etc.
