Except Amash. He’s super conservative but not crazy or corrupt or weak.

I'm the PP. I'll agree with you on that. Amash was respectful and fact-based. He smart enough to realize that he wins re-election in 2020 by keeping himself out of the current sh#t-show in the GOP.

Your description of "ride-or-die" as being an "extreme" characterization hinges on the status of being democratically elected, so it does matter. And, as it turns out, most people did not vote for him, so to continue to cling to him in the face of so much unpopularity is an extreme position, which makes "ride-or-die" an apt description.
