The hockey games were the highlight of 2026 for me. I'm not sure how many people realize this is the first time our men have won a gold medal since the 1980 Miracle on Ice team. And Jack Hughes' goal in sudden death overtime right after having his front tooth knocked out by Canada was so gratifying! I usually prefer figure skating, but what an incredible hockey game!

Yep and those commentators didn't let anyone forget about that 1980 win repeatedly throughout the game. And eery it was exactly 46 years to the day.

I was rooting for Canada. I absolutely hate Tkachuk brothers. If you haven't seen it, watch the video of the Panthers' WH visit about a month ago and how he kissed up to our leader. it was enough to make me throw up. I've never liked him but that was just too much.
