So is graduation now back to 6th? |
That was the process for years. I’ve offered to cover duties for colleagues during Ramadan and Eid in their absence. It was no big deal |
Thank goodness common sense prevailed! |
No I think this is more about proving how progressive we are, rebuking Trump, getting DEI street cred. Operational efficiency was not mentioned so it wasn’t staff requesting off. They did not expect a fight which is why it wasn’t going to go up for a vote initially |
What did we elect these jokers for? We are in an impossible situation and must make a decision . . . So I abstain. |
These folks are detached from reality not understanding this would be a big deal. Which is not great. |
Anyone who abstained or voted yes needs to be voted out. Insane that people thought this should pass. |
Who ultimately abstained and who voted? |
Bethany voted for the day off. Vote her out! |
Congrats to the people who spoke up. I’m sure there are many families who are completely unaware that this was even discussed tonight who would have been caught short-handed if the closure had passed.
Frankly, I think the board is lucky that some people found out and had a chance to make their feelings known. |
Clark and Turner voted NO. |
Big thanks to OP. My kid is at YHS and nothing from the PTA or on their FB page. |
The abstainers are cowards. |
+1. |
