I think this was a real attack, but I agree the secret service's slow reaction was very odd. They didn't seem to know what to do.

In any other incident like this, the secret service hustles the President out in a hurry. That didn’t happen here. He was given time for his photo op. This seems very fishy to me.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was staged to rally Trump’s base.
