Well at least you sign your post. |
Not to be captain obvious here, but what did Hamas think was going to happen after October 7? What did Israel think was going to happen with the ongoing settlements prior to October 7? I don’t want to pay for it, but I am also having trouble being surprised by these two groups doing what they always do, and getting the same horrific response. The reality is that they need our money, and we will send it. Trump would be doing the same thing, and likely kicking the beehive while he’s at it. That’s not going to lead to less bloodshed. |
They do not need our money, we do not need a US President and government that is subservient to Israel and the Israel does not matter to the US. At this point no one believes anything Biden or the US government says in regards to Israel, Hamas, Iran, fake ceasefire, getting the hostages out, etc. It is all bullsh#t. Israel will declare a ceasefire when they need more money and arms from the US but not before they complete the destruction of Gaza. After which the US will work hard to force and bribe the world to pay for Gaza’s “rebuild”. Then in 5 years the same thing will happen. There will never be a Palestinian state or a two state solution. Israel has said this publicly and the US government will quickly fall in-line. |
The average swing voter is not focused on Gaza. We are risking that Trump will be back in 2024 if Democrats keep on trashing Biden over this. Palestine is not a winning issue for Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, or Nevada. |
I reckon our only hope at this point is to hope for a viable 3rd party candidate to emerge or hope that Trump and/or Biden have to back out of the race for some reason. |
There is no such thing as a viable third party candidate. There just isn't. |
Young "dems" who don't vote reliably are trashing Biden over this. Foreign affairs issues will be gone by Summer's end. After Labor Day - when swing voters Starr to pay attention - Biden will be in much better shape. |
When neither of the major party candidates are viable in the eyes of the majority of Americans, there is such a thing as the possibility for a viable 3rd party candidate. We've never had both major party presidential candidates this weak and therefore your equating this election to past elections is flawed. |
Unfortunately, his poll numbers don't look good among key groups needed to win in 2024. CBS News poll suggest Biden share among minority likely voters is down. Hispanic share was 65% in 2020 and march 1st 2024 suggest share is now 53% Black share was 87% in 2020 and march 1st 2024 suggest share is now 76% If these numbers are an accurate reflection of Black and Hispanic support (and they stay around this level), Trump is practically guaranteed to win ![]() |
I love Republican poop posting. |
The most succinct post in the last five months. |
If the minorities in the country feel like their live will be better under Trump, then we will have the country they want. |
