I don’t know. I don’t think he will be charged unless they can really tie drug trafficking or sex trafficking charges to him. Culturally, because many of his victims were young male R&B singers like Usher and Chris Brown and Christopher Williams or Justin Bieber it’s going to be hard unless they help the case anonymously . For men it’s really really hard for them to go public. It takes a really brave man to do so.

While we are discussing Diddy, Lou Pearlman who managed NSYNC/Timberlake and Backstreet Boys is also a child molester. It makes me sad that many of our great stars went through underage abuse by these gatekeepers

This is why parents pushing for fame with young children seem more than a little off. Who would want this for their kids?

I agree and they don’t understand that even if the mentor or gatekeeper is the same gender there can be grooming and abuse.

I think they do understand but they do not care. I know this is a tangent but on the Quiet on Set doc there was a scene where they squirted something on underage Jamie Lynn’s mouth and Lynne Spears, Britney’s mom laughed as the guys/crew made a crude sexual joke about her daughter.

It made me totally understand why Britney is crazy. With parents like this, it’s not that they are naive or don’t understand. They know but don’t care

Brittney’s mother was also having margaritas with her when she was in middle school. That mother has serious judgment impairment

Oh really, that’s a new one. Wrong but new. There was no backlash against those artists. The genre was a direct response to the drugs, police brutality and racism experienced in urban America. BET had entire show dedicated to Rap Music called Rap City.Soul Train was dedicated to RnB and soul music but once rap became mainstream, they appeared on Soul train.

It takes a long time to release the results of an investigation and make some arrests. Homeland Security was the ones who investigated Josh Duggar for downloading child sexual abuse content and I think it took about a year for an arrest to be made. They have to coordinate with local law enforcement and possibly the FBI.
