Food choice, menu selection for event

Anonymous
I am planning a restaurant dinner for my daughter's Communion.
There will be appetizers, main meal and dessert.

There will be three choices of appetizers that people can choose from.
I need to narrow it down to three appetizer from the following list.

Minestrone soup
Caesar salad
Spinach, arugula, radicchio salad with balsamic
Mussels
Calamari
Scallops
Stuffed rice balls ( stuffed with lamb, cheese, mushroom, spinach topped with tomato sauce)

From the list what is your favourite one or two?

Thanks for the feedback.
I never had rice balls so I was against them initially. But they do sound good.

I agree! Seems like there would be something for everyone.

Will there be lots of kids? I'd avoid the radicchio salad in favor of a Caesar. Lots of folks don't like radicchio (including me, an adult!)

I would go Minestrone, Caesar, and calamari (is it fried?)

First communion, so for a second grader? If so, I'd go with kid friendly foods. Even if the kids aren't the majority of the invitees, they're still the "reason" for the event. Minestrone, Caesar and calamari or rice balls sounds good to me.

Does anyone really like minestrone? Yuck.

I'd keep the spinach salad, because its the only vegetarian choice.

Caesar has no meat.
There is just one vegetarian there. She doesn't eat meat but eats seafood.
