If your child made it into AAP without appealing...

Do you think your child is a better fit for AAP than a child who makes it in on appeal?

no.

same here -- no

Like the others, I have to say "no," as I don't pay attention to how the other kids are doing or know whether they got in on appeal or not. I care about *my* kid, and it's a good fit for him.

How do you even know?

I can say that parents on here seem to focus a lot on the 5% or so who make it into the pool and then into the program as it relates to their children...saying others don't "need" it....so I would seem to think that if someone made it in on appeal, those parents would not think appeal-kids are as "worthy".

wait....parental referral is not on appeal.

Same thing really-didn't qualify according to the school.

Not necessarily.

Does it matter if I think that or not?

Anonymous
Impossible to say since you don't know which kids got in with and without - so you can't tell who got in on appeal.

Actually, the school's input will be from the GBRS, rather than the test score. So you are wrong.

I can't really say because I haven't a clue how/when all the other kids were placed in AAP.

All I know is that my kid has an outstanding group of classmates this year in terms of how similar and fast they all learn.
